Capella Hanoi is a hotel dressed for opening night. Its 45 rooms and suites each take a story from opera in the 1920s, told in costumes, murals and memorabilia. It stands on Le Phung Hieu street in Hoan Kiem, moments from the Hanoi Opera House and the Old Quarter, and its days run to a programme of their own: coffee at dawn, tea in the afternoon, jazz at dusk.
Steps up from the street, into the 1920s.
A private car brings you from the airport into Hoan Kiem, Hanoi's central district, and stops under a curved glass canopy on Le Phung Hieu street. Inside, the lobby runs between white atlas statues and painted murals towards The Living Room.
The Living Room is open to guests from 06:00 to 18:30 for soft drinks and snacks. From 15:00 to 16:00 it serves Sweet Delights, cakes and specialty teas, and from 17:30 the Jazz Soirée brings live music, small bites and the hotel's Signature Opera Punch.

A story in every room.
No two rooms are dressed the same way: each pays tribute to an artist, a composer, a designer or a performance from opera's great years. Premier Rooms have 35 square metres; Junior, Premier, Deluxe and Capella Suites run from 59 to 83. At the top are the two-bedroom Royal Opera Suite and the Grand Opera Suite, the largest at 194 square metres.
Every room opens onto a French balcony, with a separate shower and bath, a Marshall speaker and an in-room bar of soft drinks, refilled once a day. Neighbouring Premier Rooms and Deluxe Suites can be booked together as a set for families.

Hanoi by day, the theatre by night.
Hanoi Calling starts the day at 06:30: exercise with the hotel's trainers, then Vietnamese coffee and banh mi. Breakfast is at Backstage, ordered from the menu with Champagne. Then the Old Quarter, with a guide or the hotel's Culturist to point the way, and back for Capella Moments at 15:00: calligraphy, to he figurines or a leather-making class.
Evenings stay in. Backstage serves Northern Vietnamese cooking among opera costumes; Hibana by Koki is a Japanese teppanyaki counter, which the hotel lists with one Michelin star from 2023 to 2026. The Hudson Rooms pours whisky over oysters and caviar. Below ground are an indoor pool, a sauna and steam room, a gym and Auriga Spa.

Your proposal makes
the details clear.
Pai Dai plans the stay and coordinates the transfers, any guiding in Hanoi and the rest of your Vietnam route, and your proposal sets out what is included, with costs, before you decide. Begin with your dates, who is travelling and what else is on your route.
- Your room or suite, stay dates and availability.
- Private transfers between the airport and the hotel.
- Any spa treatments, booked with the hotel.
- Any extras: dinner at Hibana by Koki or Backstage, or a guided day in Hanoi.
- What is included, what costs extra, and the booking terms.
Start with your dates.
Hanoi is a year-round city stay, and the hotel's programme runs every day. Summer is hot and humid with heavy showers, and winter cool and often grey; the pool and spa are indoors, so the weather matters less inside than out.
