Siem Reap — Arrival

Arrival at Siem Reap International. Private transfer to hotel. Afternoon orientation walk through the Old Market quarter. Welcome dinner on Pub Street.

Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom

Pre-dawn transfer to Angkor Wat for sunrise over the lotus pond — one of the great spectacles of Southeast Asia. Breakfast break, then Angkor Thom: Bayon temple with its 216 enigmatic stone faces, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants. Afternoon rest. Ta Prohm at golden hour — the tree-root temple made famous by Lara Croft.

Siem Reap — Outlying Temples & Village

Morning visit to Banteay Srei — the citadel of women, carved in pink sandstone with extraordinary detail. Afternoon: traditional Apsara dance performance. Evening on Pub Street.

Phnom Penh

Morning flight or road transfer to Phnom Penh. Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda — the Emerald Buddha, the floor of silver tiles. Afternoon: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21 prison) and the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek. Heavy history, essential context.

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

Morning flight to Saigon. Check-in in District 1. Afternoon walking tour — Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market. Evening: rooftop dinner with city views.

Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon

Full day excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels. Wartime underground network, historical exhibits, jungle trails. Return to Saigon. Evening free in the backpacker district.

Fly to Da Nang — Hoi An

Morning flight to Da Nang. Transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town. Check-in at riverside boutique hotel. Afternoon free to explore tailors, galleries, canal-side cafes.

Hoi An — Lantern Making & Cooking Class

Morning lantern-making workshop with a local artisan family. Afternoon: market-to-table cooking class — pho, banh mi, fresh spring rolls. Evening: paper lantern release on the Thu Bon River.

Hue — Imperial Citadel via Hai Van Pass

Private coach drive over the Hai Van Pass (scenic viewpoint stop). Hue: Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple City, Thien Mu Pagoda, tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Overnight in Hue.

Fly to Hanoi

Morning flight from Da Nang (or Hue) to Hanoi. Check-in, Old Quarter walk. Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Evening water puppet theatre.

Hanoi — History & Culture

Temple of Literature. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex. Hoa Lo Prison. Long Bien Bridge. Group dinner at a traditional Hanoi restaurant — bun cha, cha ca, banh cuon.

Ha Long Bay — Board the Junk

Private transfer to Ha Long Bay (3.5 hours). Board luxury overnight junk. Afternoon: kayaking through limestone karsts, floating fishing village, swimming stop. Cooking demonstration on deck. Sunset cocktails. Dinner under the stars.

Ha Long Bay — Second Day on the Water

Morning tai chi on deck. Bamboo rowboat through a hidden cave system. Brunch before disembarkation. Transfer back to Hanoi. Afternoon free for last-minute shopping.
