Questions from the trade

Yes. Net rates are issued to registered trade partners and quoted to order for each inquiry, rather than published as a fixed public rate sheet. We work this way for two reasons. Ground costs in Thailand and Vietnam move with season, group size and hotel allocation, so a published rate is either out of date or padded to cover the worst case, and both of those are bad for the partner marking it up. And because we sell through the trade, we do not undercut your retail price with a public rate your client could find themselves. Rates are quoted in EUR or USD, exclude VAT, and arrive as one invoice per programme no matter how many suppliers sit behind it. What you receive is the net cost of running the programme, with the margin left entirely to you.

Thailand and Vietnam, with our own teams, offices and licensed guides in both, and full ground operations in each rather than a subcontract. Group sizes run from two travellers to 120. In Thailand we operate Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui; in Vietnam, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Cambodia, including Siem Reap and Angkor, is available as a cross-border extension to a Vietnam programme, not as a standalone destination. We handle tailor-made group tours, FIT, incentives and MICE, and corporate travel. We do not run fixed-departure coach tours and we are not a booking platform, which is why every programme is quoted to order against your brief instead of pulled from a catalogue.

A costed proposal comes back within 24 hours of a complete brief. Complete is doing real work in that sentence, so here is what it means: the destinations, the travel dates or a dated window, the number of travellers, the standard of hotel you want, and which elements you need us to operate, whether that is accommodation, transport, guiding, activities, MICE elements or the entire programme. With those five things we can cost the programme properly and return it ready to forward to your client. If something material is missing, we come back with the specific question first rather than sending a padded guess, because a fast wrong number costs you more than a slow right one. Standard lead time is four weeks or more, and eight weeks or more in peak season, when hotel allocation in both countries tightens sharply.

We hold Thai Tourism Business Licence No. 11/13335 from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and we are registered with the Thai Department of Business Development under Reg. No. 0415566000335. In Vietnam the company holds International Tour Operator Licence No. 79-2057/2025/CDLQGVN-GP LHQ. We are certified under the TAT STAR scheme at 3-Star level, certificate STAR-E00529, which covers sustainable tourism practice across the supply chain, and we carry professional liability insurance appropriate to the activities we operate. Thailand is our primary registered entity and Vietnam operates as a second office under its own Vietnamese licence, which is what lets us contract suppliers directly in both countries instead of subcontracting one of them. If your compliance file needs certificates or licence documents, ask and we will send current copies.

We are a DMC, which means we are the operator in the destination rather than the company selling the trip to the traveller. The practical difference for a buyer is who holds the supplier relationships and who is accountable when something goes wrong at two in the morning in Hoi An. A DMC contracts hotels, vehicles and guides directly, holds the licences to operate in the destination, and staffs the ground. A tour operator packages and sells the trip, often buying the ground element from a DMC. It matters commercially because every additional layer between you and the destination adds margin and adds distance from the supplier. Working with us, you deal with the company whose own staff will be standing in the arrivals hall, not an intermediary who will forward your brief to them.

It runs as one programme rather than two programmes joined at an airport. Because we operate both countries ourselves, the same company contracts the hotels in Chiang Mai and the hotels in Hoi An, the same team writes both halves of the itinerary, and you get one contract, one invoice and one point of contact from the first message to the final airport drop-off. There is no road border between Thailand and Vietnam, as the two countries do not touch and Laos or Cambodia sits between them, so a combined programme moves by air and we book and hold those flights as part of it. The failure we are most often hired to fix is the handover between two separate ground handlers, where each is correct about their own half and nobody owns the seam between them.
