A few nights on a hillside above the sea, on the southern coast of Koh Samui. Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary is built around a cave once used by Buddhist monks for meditation, with rooms and villas set among granite boulders and trees. Pai Dai can include a stay or a Kamalaya programme in a Koh Samui itinerary, arranged when included and confirmed in your proposal.

Kamalaya's hillside runs down to a secluded beach, and the buildings work around the granite boulders, streams and trees already there. Rooms use Asian textiles and art, and many have terraces or balconies with daybeds. Kamalaya keeps televisions out of the rooms, though one can be requested, and Wi-Fi is complimentary.
Room categories run from Hillside Rooms and Superior Suites to Suites and Villas with garden or sea views, and pool villas and suites including Beachfront Pool Villas and Penthouse Pool Suites. Your proposal confirms the room category, dates and availability.

Kamalaya starts each stay with a wellness consultation with one of its naturopaths, where guests can choose a programme or change one booked beforehand. Its programmes sit under headings such as Restore & Recharge, Detox & Gut Renewal and Emotional Resilience & Balance, and include Relax & Renew, Personal Yoga Synergy and Sleep Enhancement.
Kamalaya designs and runs the programmes, the treatments and a weekly schedule of classes such as yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation. A programme or treatments are arranged when booked and confirmed for your stay, and we handle the travel around them.

Soma Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner on two levels overlooking the valley, the coast and the islands offshore, with a community table for guests who want to eat together. Amrita Café serves lunch among the lotus ponds beside the leisure pool.
Alchemy Tea Lounge, at the main reception, serves herbal teas, juices and light snacks, with views over the coast at sunset. Dinners are arranged when included and confirmed in your proposal.

Share your travel window at the start, especially for group dates. Kamalaya's own guidance notes that May to October is usually warm and sunny on Koh Samui, and that the island's main rainy season generally peaks between late October and December.

Does every guest need to book a wellness programme?+
Kamalaya starts each stay with a wellness consultation with one of its naturopaths. Guests can choose a programme at that point, or change one they booked beforehand. Your proposal shows whether a programme is included in your stay.

Does Kamalaya take groups?+
Kamalaya hosts small group retreats in May, June, July, September and October. Its group spaces include Yantra Hall, which looks over the sea, and outdoor settings such as Yantra Lawn and the beach, subject to the resort's daily schedule. Rooms, programmes and any group arrangements are confirmed in your proposal.
Is Kamalaya suitable for children?+
Kamalaya designs its facilities and services for adults and does not recommend a stay for children. Tell us who is travelling, and we will check Kamalaya's current policy for your dates.
Is this a fixed three-night package?+
No. Three nights is a starting point. Tell us your dates and what you want time for; your proposal sets out the stay, any programme, the transfers and the arrangements you choose, with their costs and booking terms.
