Questions from the trade

Yes. Net rates are issued to registered trade partners and quoted to order for each enquiry; we do not publish a fixed public rate sheet. Ground costs in Thailand and Vietnam move with season, group size and hotel allocation, which leaves a published rate either out of date or padded to cover the worst case, and both are bad for the partner marking it up. A net rate is your buying price from us. It can include our operating margin and is not a list of raw supplier costs; your agency sets its own selling price. Each quotation sets out the currency, tax treatment, rooming basis, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms for your dates.

Thailand and Vietnam, through a licensed company in each country and with licensed guides in both. Group sizes run from one traveller to 120. In Thailand we operate Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui; in Vietnam, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Cambodia, including Siem Reap and Angkor, is available as a cross-border extension to a Vietnam programme, not as a standalone destination. We handle tailor-made group tours, FIT, incentives and MICE, and corporate travel. We do not run fixed-departure coach tours and we are not a booking platform, which is why every programme is quoted to order against your brief instead of pulled from a catalogue.

After we receive a complete brief, we provide a costed quote by the same time on the next business day. Complex multi-country or peak-season requests may take longer; we state the revised deadline when we acknowledge the request. A complete brief gives us the destinations, travel dates or a dated window, traveller numbers, rooming split, hotel standard and services you want us to operate. Include accommodation, transport, guiding, activities or MICE as needed, and tell us which arrangements your agency will handle. Add flights already booked and any language, dietary or mobility requirements. If something material is missing, we ask for that detail before costing. The proposal sets out the programme and its price for your review. Standard lead time is four weeks or more, and eight weeks or more in peak season, when hotel availability can be limited.

Pai Dai trades through two companies, one in each country. In Thailand, Paidai Online Co., Ltd. holds Tourism Business Licence No. 11/13335 from the Department of Tourism and is registered with the Department of Business Development under Reg. No. 0415566000335. In Vietnam, PAIDAI VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED holds International Tour Operator Licence No. 79-2057/2025/CDLQGVN-GP LHQT. Each company works from its own office: the Thai company in Bangkok and the Vietnamese company in Ho Chi Minh City. The TAT STAR 3-Star certificate, STAR-E00529, applies to the Thai company only and is valid until 27 June 2028. We will send current copies of any of these documents your compliance file needs. Your quotation names the company you contract with. Paidai Online Co., Ltd. holds a Chubb tour-operator travel accident policy. Cover requires traveller registration before departure and is subject to the policy's eligibility rules, trip limits and exclusions. Ask us to confirm the cover for your programme; the certificate and schedule of benefits are available on request. It is an accident policy, not public liability or professional indemnity cover. If your compliance file requires us to carry either as a condition of trading, tell us before booking confirmation and we will confirm in writing what is in force.

We are a DMC, which means we are the operator in the destination rather than the company selling the trip to the traveller. The practical difference for a buyer is who holds the supplier relationships and who is accountable when something goes wrong at two in the morning in Hoi An. A DMC contracts hotels, vehicles and guides directly, holds the licences to operate in the destination, and coordinates the ground services. A tour operator packages and sells the trip, often buying the ground element from a DMC. It matters commercially because every additional layer between you and the destination adds margin and adds distance from the supplier. Working with us, you deal with the DMC itself, not an intermediary who will forward your brief to one.

Send both countries in one brief and we plan transfer times, hotels, guides and the handover between the two legs together. Pai Dai trades through a Thai company and a Vietnamese company, and the quotation names the company you contract with, the services in each country and who handles changes during travel. Thailand and Vietnam do not share a border (Laos or Cambodia sits between them), so a combined programme moves by air. If you want us to arrange that flight, the quotation lists it in the scope; seats are not booked or held just because the route shows a flight. If tickets are already booked, include the schedule in your brief so the airport transfers on each side can be planned around it.

Partly, and it is worth being exact about which parts. Thailand and Vietnam we cover through a licensed company in each, with licensed guides in both: Paidai Online Co., Ltd. holds Thai Tourism Business Licence No. 11/13335, and PAIDAI VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED holds Vietnamese International Tour Operator Licence No. 79-2057/2025/CDLQGVN-GP LHQT. Cambodia, including Siem Reap and Angkor, runs as a cross-border extension to a Vietnam programme, not as a standalone destination. We do not operate Laos or Myanmar, and we would rather say so than subcontract them and call it coverage. For a Mekong itinerary that stays inside Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, the quotation names the company you contract with for each country and who operates the Cambodia extension. For one that needs Luang Prabang or Yangon we are not the right operator, and we will tell you that at enquiry, before you have quoted it to your client.
